Cherie, owner of Spiradrill since 1994, has been instrumental in the company’s growth and its strong culture of community service. She leads Spiradrill’s outreach efforts, supports numerous local organizations, and serves on the board of the Children’s Advocacy Center and mission counsel for Feed the Need Missions of Bastrop.

President

Drew Granzow plays a key role on the Spiradrill team, supporting customers with practical solutions and a strong focus on service. Known for his approachable style and industry knowledge, Drew helps ensure every client interaction reflects Spiradrill’s commitment to quality and reliability.

Matt Merchant

Matt Merchant

Director of Manufacturing

Matt joined Spiradrill in 2008 and now serves as Director of Product Development, working closely with customers, engineers, and the manufacturing team to improve products and resolve field issues. With a background in machining, training, and parts management, Matt brings hands-on expertise and a deep commitment to product quality and customer success. He lives in Texas with his wife, Tiffany, and their three daughters.

Bill Hair

Regional Manager – Southeast

Bill Hair joined Spiradrill in December 2023 to support customers across the Southeast with pressure digger sales, rentals, parts, and service. With over 20 years in the utility and construction industries, including roles at Fastenal, Sunbelt Rentals, and United Rentals, Bill brings a strong, solution-focused approach. He and his wife, Jennifer, are proud parents of two U.S. Navy sons and enjoy traveling to Major League ballparks.

Scott Mobley

Scott Mobley

Regional Manager – Midwest

Scott Mobley joined Spiradrill in September 2023 to lead sales across the Midwest. With over 25 years in heavy equipment sales and a background that includes roles at Genie, JCB, and Anderson UnderBridge, Scott brings deep industry experience and strong customer focus. A U.S. Army veteran, he lives with his wife, Kim, and enjoys woodworking, motorcycles, and golf.

Ward Beadnell

Procurement & Parts Manager

Ward joined Spiradrill in 2020, bringing 10+ years of experience as a driller and mechanic. He provides expert parts and technical support, helping customers quickly identify issues and get what they need. In his spare time, he and his wife Thomi enjoy building and riding motorcycles.

Frank Craddock

Frank Craddock

Product Support Representative

Frank joined Spiradrill in 2019 with over 30 years of experience in automotive, diesel, and heavy equipment repair. He supports customers in the field with diagnostics and troubleshooting. Outside of work, Frank enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Micah, and their two children.

Cherie is owner of Spiradrill and a dedicated advocate for community service and education. As a board member, she brings decades of leadership and a deep commitment to giving back. She plays a key role in Spiradrill’s local outreach, supporting organizations throughout Bastrop and Smithville.

Richard Cabrera, CPA, CGMA, MBA

Austin, Texas

Rick is an experienced senior financial and operational executive with a strong track record of driving growth and profitability. He has held CFO and COO roles at several organizations, including Academic Programs International and Texas Disposal Systems. At Spiradrill, he brings expertise in finance, risk management, and strategic leadership.

Mohan S. Kharbanda, MBA

Austin, Texas

Mohan is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of experience in global business leadership, including roles at Dell, Apple, and as CEO of Lineage Power India. He brings Spiradrill expertise in strategy, P&L management, and corporate growth, with a background in engineering and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.

Steve Vandegrift

Austin, Texas

Steve is a serial entrepreneur and CEO of Mascot Media, Inc., with a strong track record in growing technology companies through startup, turnaround, and acquisition. He brings Spiradrill deep experience in finance, technology, and leadership, having served on the Federal Reserve Bank Board and advised numerous tech ventures.
