The Spiradrill Topdrive Utility Drill (STUD) is an excavator-mounted drill designed to deliver increased drilling power and maneuverability in difficult working conditions. The low operational height is ideal for low clearance jobs such as under existing power lines or structures.
The STUD rolls off the trailer ready to drill and is designed with ease-of-operation in mind. Simply put, the STUD will deliver the versatility and performance needed for the toughest projects.
The STUD can easily reach over obstacles or obstructions extending as far as 16-feet away from the tracks. The drilling mechanism is available with either square friction Kelly bars or round interlocking Kelly bars and can reach depths of up to 60 feet with up to 72-inch diameter bore.
