Business Development Manager



Roger joined the Spiradrill sales team in June of 2021 following successful stints selling farm equipment for John Deere and then drilling augers across the country. Roger also holds a seat on the board of directors for The International Association of Foundation Drillers (ADSC-IAFD); which, combined with his years of equipment sales experience, grants him a wide network of industry contacts.

Prior to launching into his sales career, Roger spent 28 years serving the public in various law enforcement agencies; primarily with the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Rangers. For much of that time, Roger was a K9 officer covering vast areas of Texas with his canines.

In his spare time, Roger and his wife, Sunny, enjoy traveling to and competing in cutting horse competitions as well as the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) each fall. A fitting recreation for the former offensive lineman for the University of Texas Longhorns football player (1976-1979). Roger also earned a degree in criminal justice from Texas.

Casey joined Spiradrill in October of 2020, bringing 17+ years of business development and sales experience. The retired United States Marine provides extensive experience in both national and global markets including Japan, Germany, and China.

Prior to joining Spiradrill, Casey spent many years in industrial sales mostly based in the Houston area. Most recently he served as the business development manager for Pipe Exchange in Houston. Before that, he was an outside sales executive for Kelly Pipe Co. in The Woodlands, Texas.

Casey holds a BBA degree from the University of Houston and currently resides in Cypress, Texas with his wife, Jennifer, and two sons (Brody and Barrett). He enjoys gastronomy (study of food and culture), traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Chas joined the Spiradrill sales team in March of 2022 continuing his well-established career in the Deep Foundation Construction Equipment industry. Following a 10+-year career as a corrections officer, Chas has held sales positions with Equipment Corporation of America, CZM Foundation Equipment, and International Construction Equipment. In recognition of his efforts with the endowment of the Bill Maher Scholarship and for his commitment and leadership to the efforts of ADSC’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter initiatives, Chas was awarded the ADSC Presidential Award in 2019.

Lending his voice to the betterment of the industry, Chas has served as president of the ADSC Mid-Atlantic chapter (2018-2022) and still serves on the Executive Board of Directors. Since 2012, he has organized the chapter’s annual golf event, and he is the Past President of the Association of Equipment Distributors. As a lifelong Phillies fan, one of his career highlights was witnessing the construction of the Citizens Bank Park from groundbreaking to the behind-the-scenes tour given to contractors and vendors who were part of the project.

Chas and his wife, Daniele, have one daughter (Cassidy) and one son (Chase). When he has free time, Chas enjoys playing golf, hunting, target shooting, and being a DJ. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends, and he gives back to his community by volunteering with the high school lacrosse boosters.

Kris joined the Spiradrill sales team in May of 2022 following a thirty-year career in the steel and drilling industries. Most recently, Kris served as the Sales Manager for Jeffrey Machine – a leading manufacturer of auger tooling, as well as other drilling tools, parts, and accessories. In just a few years, Kris helped Jeffrey Machine grow their annual sales volume by more than 40 percent. He also oversaw Jeffrey’s IT department, purchasing, and inventory management, and represented JMI at ADSC meetings, and events such as IFCEE and Conexpo.

Kris began his career at the age of 18 as an hourly wage earner on a grinder. Over the next thirteen years, he worked his way up through the shop and field learning trades like welding, plate and structural fitting, and installation. Soon, he found his way into management positions with Custom Industrial Fabricating, and then with Chatham Steel.

At Spiradrill, Kris’ deep background in field operations of the steel and drilling industries offers an exceptional understanding and appreciation of the needs of our drilling customers.

Kris and his wife, Melanie, reside in Pell City, Alabama. The couple have four children – Chandler, Skyler, Haidyn, and Holden. In his spare time, Kris is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys deer and bird hunting.

Frank Craddock

Frank joined Spiradrill in August 2019 following 30 years of valuable experience in automotive, diesel, and heavy equipment mechanics. At Spiradrill, Frank will assist customers in the field to diagnose issues and solve problems so they can get back to work quickly.

Frank holds many mechanical certifications including:

  • DDEC III/IV (Detroit Diesel Mechanics, Houston, TX – 2003).
  • Series 50/60 Overhaul with EGR (Detroit Diesel Mechanics, Houston, TX – 2003).
  • International Mobile Air Conditioning Association (IMACA) Certified.
  • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified in heavy equipment, brake, clutch, engine, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, and drive train.

Together with his wife (Micah), daughter (Avery), and son (AJ), Frank enjoys being outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoys finding ways to be active in the community and help his neighbors.

Ward Beadnell

Product Support Representative



Ward joined Spiradrill in April 2020 as a service mechanic before moving into the role of product support representative. Ward primarily services and repairs drilling rigs both in our facility and in the field. Additionally, he provides customer training on the operation of rigs and assists with diagnostics and parts.

Prior to joining Spiradrill, Ward spent 10 years in the parts and service industry – much of it as a crew manager for teams drilling piers for road signs across Texas.

Ward and his wife, Thomi, have twin 4-year-old boys (Miles and Chandler), and are also licensed foster parents. When not working with drilling rigs, Ward spends much of his spare time working on motorcycles in the repair shop he and his wife took over in 2021. For fun, he enjoys riding dirt bikes and playing football with his boys.

Matt Merchant

Parts Manager



Matt joined Spiradrill in 2008 after moving to Texas from Tallahassee, Florida. For seven years, Matt worked in Spiradrill’s machine shop and was promoted to the role of machine shop supervisor, providing much of the customer training on all Spiradrill series drills. In 2020, he was elevated to the role of parts manager.

An electrician by trade, Matt was a project manager for Tarpon Electric in Florida. He also served as a facility coordinator for the manufacturing company, Tallahassee Technology.

Matt and his wife, Tiffany, have three daughters (Chelsea, Lee Ann, and Makenna). In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and fishing.
