Matthew J. Bogenschutz
Controller
Matt joined Spiradrill in August of 2022 as Controller, a position from which he will oversee accounting, inventory, and compliance for the organization. He will also lead the company in evaluating, implementing, and improving systems and process automation.
Matt has proven to be a relationship builder and results-driven accounting and finance leader throughout his extensive career. He has Public Accounting experience with Grant Thornton and 24 years of progressive leadership with LyondellBasell. More recently, Matt served as Controller/Treasurer for Cornerstone Chemical Company, and as Controller/CFO of Sinclair Group, Ltd. – a Houston-based leadership management consulting firm.
Matt earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the State of Texas American Institute of Public Accountants (1991).
Matt and his wife, Stephanie, have three children. In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing golf, fishing, and serving the community as a member of the Catholic Knights of Columbus.
