Director of Manufacturing


Jim joined Spiradrill in October of 2022 as Director of Manufacturing. In this role, Jim oversees all operations within our manufacturing facility including fabrication, welding, machining, painting, assembly, engineering and supply chain.

Jim has worked with many small family-owned manufacturing businesses over his career. His focus has been introducing structure, systems and lean concepts to companies that did not previously have such structure or systems. Jim has been heavily involved in 6 ERP implementations (Spiradrill makes 7). Over the years, Jim has used his strong work ethic and excellent soft skills to facilitate success in numerous roles and environments. Prior to joining Spiradrill, Jim managed the manufacturing operations for Lincoln Electric Products in Union, N.J., and TyBot LLC in Allison Park, PA. He served as Director of Operations for Roll & Hill, an architectural lighting company in Brooklyn, NY. Jim started his career at JSC Wire & Cable, a 4th generation family-owned business (Jim was the 4th generation). He started his 19 years with JSC Wire as a project manager (heading up ERP implementation) and worked his way up to the position of General Manager.

He started his education at Calvin College (now Calvin University) in Grand Rapids, MI. Jim studied Business Administration, Operations and Psychology before transferring to Clarkson University when he decided to pursue a career path in manufacturing operations. At Clarkson, Jim earned a B.S. degree in Industrial Management and an M.S. degree in Supply Chain.

Jim is enthusiastic about Christian education. He is married to his college sweetheart Tonia, and they have two beautiful children together, Austin and Mia. Jim is a devout fan of New York City sports teams, particularly the Mets, Giants, and Brooklyn Nets.
